200g semolina (wheat or spelt)
300g fresh cow cheese
olive oil
liquid honey
poppy seeds

Mix (knead) the tough and dense dough made of cheese and semolina well, shape it into balls, and bake while occasionally turning in olive oil until golden brown. Roll them in warmed liquid honey and generously sprinkle with poppy seeds. The balls can be served warm or cold.
