Nova moderna Gradska knjižnica i čitaonica Vinkovci sljednica je Vinkovačke čitaonice koja je osnovana 9. kolovoza 1875. godine.
GRADSKO KAZALIŠTE “JOZA IVAKIĆ” VINKOVCI
Kazališna tradicija u Vinkovcima seže u daleku 1917. godinu kada je Diletantsko kazalište izvelo “Prosce” Ise Velikanovića. i “Začarani ormar” Ferde Ž. Milera. Ova djela najavila su bogati građanski repertoar vinkovačkoj sceni do drugog velikog rata. Već 5.. srpnja 1945. formirano je Narodno kazalište Vinkovci, a predstavom “Požar strasti” J. Kosora najavilo je zavičajni repertoar.

SACRAL HERITAGE
Cibalae belongs to the most prominent early Christian centres. In early as 3rd it had a bishop, Eusebius, who died as a martyr in the persecution of Christians during Emperor Valerian in 258 AD.
